Estepona is a town in the Costa del Sol, southern Spain. It is located in the province of Málaga, and it is known as the garden of Andalusia.  It is 137 square kilometers in size, it is backed by the beautiful Sierra Bermeja mountains, which reaches 1,449 at its peak.

Estepona is renowned for its beaches, which stretch along  21 km of coastline, which include two blue flag beaches.  It is a popular resort and holiday destination, which is unique in that it has managed to retain its authentic charm.

Due to its natural environment, surrounded by the sea and the mountains, Estepona has a micro-climate with over 325 days of sunshine per year.

Estepona is bustling with bars and restaurants, which are mainly based within the centre of town and around the Port area.   Due to its climate Estepona is a year round resort, with a large amount of golfers visiting throughout the winter months.

Estepona is also a wonderful destination for families, boasting many activities for children, and very family friendly nightlife.

Estepona´s population is 70,000. The expatriate community makes up about 30 per cent of the town’s population, with 111 different nationalities registered.

International buyers make up 41.1% of the property market and the population of Estepona has grown by 24,409 (58%) since 2000.
